Jiehe Longlv PTL503S digital pressure transmitter shares a step-by-step on-site troubleshooting method, which is easy to operate, clear in organization, and can quickly locate and solve oil pressure detection faults.

1、 Basic appearance and working condition inspection, first eliminate surface problems
The first step of troubleshooting is to stop the machine and release pressure, and then check the overall status of the equipment in a safe state. Firstly, observe the appearance of the transmitter for oil accumulation, damaged casing, loose wiring, aging cables, etc., and check whether there is any significant displacement in the installation position.
At the same time, checking the surrounding environment, hydraulic pump station vibration, oil pollution, and excessive water vapor may indirectly affect equipment operation. Confirm whether there is any oil leakage or seepage in the pipeline, whether the sealing parts are intact, and whether the basic working conditions are normal before proceeding to the next step of inspection.
2、 Check the digital display status and distinguish the type of abnormality
With the help of the device's built-in digital display screen, the fault direction can be intuitively determined. If there is no display on the screen, prioritize checking the power supply line and power interface to confirm if the power supply is normal;
If there are numerical values on the screen, but the values remain fixed and reset to zero for a long time, or if there are frequent jumping and fluctuating values, it can be basically determined that there is a problem with pressure sensing, signal transmission, or oil transmission, and targeted follow-up maintenance should be carried out.
3、 Check the oil circuit conduction, identify blockages and conduction faults
Oil pressure relies on the medium to transmit pressure, and poor oil flow is a common cause. Check if the pressure tapping area is blocked by oil sludge or impurities, which hinders the normal transmission of pressure.
Clean the pressure tapping interface and the surrounding oil stains and sediments to ensure smooth oil flow. At the same time, confirm that there are no bends, squeezes, or leaks in the pressure tapping pipeline, and that the pressure can be fully transmitted to the sensing part, eliminating detection abnormalities caused by poor medium transmission.
4、 Verify zero point and numerical value, correct parameter offset
Observe the zero point value of the instrument when the pipeline is completely depressurized and under normal pressure. If there is a zero offset, complete the zero reset calibration according to the device operation method.
Slowly restore the pipeline pressure, compare the actual operating pressure with the instrument display value in sections, and determine whether there is an overall deviation. If it is only a numerical deviation, normal detection accuracy can be restored through simple parameter correction.
5、 Detecting lines and signals, resolving transmission faults
For situations where the values are normal but the central control system receives abnormal data, focus on checking the signal connection lines. Check if the wiring terminals are loose or disconnected, and if there are any short circuits or open circuits in the circuit.
Sort out the route and stay away from strong interference sources such as electrical cables and motors. Electromagnetic interference in hydraulic equipment rooms can also cause signal disorder. After re tightening the wiring and organizing the circuit, test the signal transmission for stability again.
6、 Combined with the vibration of working conditions, reinforcement and installation are carried out to enhance stability
Continuous vibration of the hydraulic pump station can easily cause internal components to loosen and fixed brackets to shift. Check if the transmitter is securely fixed and if the screws are loose.
Reinforce the loose parts and optimize the installation method if necessary to reduce the impact of mechanical vibration. The equipment itself has good seismic performance, and after eliminating the problem of unstable installation, most phenomena such as jumping and data fluctuations will be improved accordingly.
7、 Clean and maintain, restore normal operation of equipment
After completing the fault location and repair, clean the entire equipment, wipe off the heavy oil stains on the surface, and avoid long-term erosion of the shell and wiring parts by oil stains.
Run the whole machine again, gradually increase the pipeline pressure, observe the changes in digital display values throughout the process, confirm that the display is stable, the data is accurate, and the signal transmission is normal, and then put it into normal use.
8、 Daily prevention tips
Regularly clean the oil and impurities at the pressure tap during daily inspections to avoid long-term accumulation and blockage; Regularly check the wiring and fixed parts, and identify potential looseness hazards in advance; Do not arbitrarily modify device debugging parameters to reduce the occurrence of abnormal detection problems from the source.
