1、 What level of protection is required for industrial sites

Common dust, oil mist, coolant spray, humidity, and vibration in industrial hydraulic environments, corresponding protection requirements:

Ordinary workshop (dusty, oil mist): IP65, dustproof+splash proof, able to resist daily dust and small amounts of spray.

Damp/Frequent Rinse: IP67, can be immersed in water for a short period of time, suitable for high-pressure cleaning and wet workstations.

Outdoor/high humidity/occasional immersion: IP68, long-term waterproof, suitable for harsh outdoor or underwater edge conditions.

3、 How to choose different working conditions

Indoor ordinary hydraulic station and injection molding machine: choose IP65 version PTL501, dust-proof and oil mist proof, with high cost-effectiveness.

Wet workshop, equipment that requires regular flushing: choose IP68 version PTL501F, which is anti flushing and moisture resistant.

Outdoor and outdoor hydraulic equipment: Must have IP68 rating and be able to handle rainwater, dew, and temperature condensation.

4、 Why is protection level important

Insufficient protection can easily lead to dust entering the shell, moisture in the circuit, short circuit and burning, and high oil mist and humidity on the oil pressure site, requiring reliable sealing.

The PTL501 series is protected by IP65/IP68 rating, preventing oil and moisture from entering, ensuring long-term stable measurement, and reducing downtime maintenance.
